Description of key information

The 96h-LC50 for carp exposed to the substance exceeded the maximum solubility of the substance in test medium.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The acute toxicity of the substance towards carp was investigated in accordance with OECD 203 and according to GLP principles. Based on the results of a preceding range-finding test, a limit test was performed using a WSF prepared at a loading rate of 100 mg/L. Test substance concentrations were analytically verified by following the mono-ester and di-ester. The study met the acceptability criteria. No mortality or clinical effects were observed in the control and the limit concentration throughout the exposure period. The 96h-LC50 for carp exposed to the substance exceeded therefore the maximum solubility of the substance in test medium.
