Description of key information

No skin sensitiser

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

The potential of the test item, to induce and elicit delayed dermal sensitisation was assessed in a Guinea Pig Maximisation Test performed according to OECD Guideline 406. No response to the test item at 50% concentration was apparent at challenge in any animal of the test and control groups. These results indicate that the test item, does not elicit a sensitisation response in the guinea pig, since there is no reaction observed at challenge.

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no study available

Justification for classification or non-classification

Skin sensitisation

As no sensitisation response was observed during the study, the substance is not to be classified for skin sensitisation effects according to the criteria described in the CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
