The quantification of the test item Sa 57 (SAT No. 090073) was performed using gas chromatography from a parallel set of test vessels (GC-MS-method). At the start of the test 106 % of the nominal test concentration was found (mean value of test media of nominal 3.2 and 10 mg test item/L). After 24 hours test duration, 23 % of the nominal value was determined as the mean value of test media of nominal 3.2 and 10 mg test item/L. After 48 hours test duration, 15 % of the nominal value was determined (mean value of test media of nominal 10 mg test item/L). At the end of the test at 72h, 5 % of the nominal test concentration was found (mean value of test media of nominal 10 mg test item/L). A significant decrease of the test item was observed during the course of the test. Therefore, the biological endpoints were related to the geometric mean value of the test concentration of 10 mg test item/L, since this was the only treatment level where the decrease of the test item could be evaluated until the end of the test (after 72 hours of exposure).

The influence of Sa 57 (SAT No. 090073) on the growth of the freshwater green algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was assessed in a static dose-response test. The 72-hour ErC50 value was calculated to be > 2.2 mg test item/L and the 72-hour EyC50 was calculated to be > 2.2 mg test item/L. The 72-hour NOErC was determined to be 0.7 and the associated 72-hour LOErC is 2.2 mg/L. The 72-hour NOEyC was determined to be 0.7 and the associated 72-hour LOEyC is 2.2 mg/L.
