Description of key information

Short-term and Long-term studies and end-points exist for three trophic levels of freshwater species for Nectaryl, as follows :

Short-Term Toxicity to Fish (OECD 203) :

96 hour LC50 = 5.47 mg/L (D. rerio)

96 hour LC50 = 3.21 mg/L (O. latipes)

Long-Term Early-Life Stage (OECD 210) :

30 day NOEC = 0.14 mg/L (D. rerio)

Acute Daphnia Immobilisation (OECD 202) :

48 hour EC50 = 0.49 mg/L (D. magna)

Daphnia Reproduction (OECD 211) :

21 day NOEC = 0.17 mg/L (D. magna)

Algal Inhibition (OECD 021 - P. subcapitata) :

72 hour EC50 (growth rate) = 2.9 mg/L

72 hour EC10 (growth rate) = 0.32 mg/L

Toxicity to Aquatic Microorganisms (OECD 209) :

All tested concentrations (1 to 100 mg/l) produced inhibitions below 50%.

EC50 > 100 mg/L

EC0 > or = 10 mg/L
