First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Not relevant.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of running water (for

10 minutes). Seek medical attention if necessary.
Emergency measure - Skin: Rinse with running water and soap. Apply replenishing cream.
Change all contaminated clothes.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse the mouth. Drink 1-2 glasses of water.

Fire-fighting measures

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Take up spilt material (e.g. by using an approved industrial
vacuum cleaner). Carefully transfer it to waste containers
which must be tightly closed and labelled according to TRGS
201.

While taking up the spilt material and cleaning the polluted
area avoid skin and eye contact with the substance by
wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (see sec-
tion "Handling").


Do not allow large amounts to be released into the sewer
system.

Handling and storage

Handling: Skin and eye contact with the substance should be avoided.


Where possible, use closed or at least splashproof equipment
during filling, transfer, metered feeding, and sampling.

In the case of handling the substance in open systems,
extract any aerosols which might form, directly at the point
of origin.

To avoid skin contact, tested protective gloves (e.g. ::::)
and, if applicable, suitable protective clothing (e.g. ::::)
should be worn.

The wearing of eye protection (e. g. ::::) is recommended.


Adequate washing facilities should be provided in the imme-
diate vicinity of the working area. After contact with the
skin, the affected parts of the body should be thoroughly
cleaned instantly using plenty of water. Special skin-pro-
tection and skin-care measures are recommended.

A skin-protection plan should be drawn up.

Storage: Store the substance at temperatures below 30°C in the origi-
nal packing drums or other secure containers which are la-
belled according to the regulations.

Keep them tightly closed and secure them against falling by
taking the appropriate measures.

Avoid residues on the outside of the containers.
