Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The effects of the test item on the growth of Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was evaluated over a period of 72 hours according to OECD 201 Guideline. Test solutions were prepared individually by water-accommodated fractions (WAF) approach according to OECD monograph No. 23. Test item quantification was performed according to a validated analytical method at 0, 24, 48 and 72 hours.

The effects of the test material by water-accommodated fractions to OECD test medium at the nominal loading rates of 10; 18; 31; 56 and 100 mg test item/l to Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata were investigated under laboratory conditions.

Based on growth rate and on loading rates, the NOEC (72h) was 56 mg test item/l, the LOEC (72h) was 100 mg test item/l and the EC50 (72h) was calculated to be > 100 mg test item/l.

Based on yield rate and on loading rates, the NOEC (72h) was 56 mg test item/l, the LOEC (72h) was 100 mg test item/l and the EC50 (72h) was calculated to be 79.4 (9 5% confidence limits: 65.03– 117.85 mg test item/l).
