The boiling point of the test item was not achieved as the test item underwent decomposition by changing its colour from pale yellow to black. The test item started to degrade at temperatures greater than 155 °C and appeared to be completely degraded by 270 °C. During the experimental period, the barometric pressure was 90.87 kPa. The same results were obtained in two studies performed according to OECD Guideline 103 (photocell detection method) on batches with different purities.

The substance degrades before boiling, starting at 155 °C and appeared to be completely degraded by 270 °C.
