Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The 48-hour EC50 value was determined by empirical estimation to be >97 mg a.i./L. Additional testing to further define the EC50 value was not conducted as this would exceed OECD guideline (100mg/L). The No-Observed-Effect Concentration (NOEC) was determined to be 97 mg/L. The highest concentration producing 0% immobilization was 97 mg/L. The lowest concentration producing 100% immobilization was > 97 mg/L.

Additional information

In a GLP compliant guideline, the effect of the test substance on Daphnia magna was determined. As no concentration tested resulted in a ≥50% immobilization, the 48-hour EC50 value was empirically estimated to be > 97 mg/L, the highest mean measured concentration tested. Additional testing to further define the EC50 value was not conducted since the highest nominal treatment level tested (100 mg/L) is the highest concentration required by the OECD guideline.

The No-Observed-Effect Concentration (NOEC) was determined to be 97 mg/L. The limits of test substance concentration producing 0% and 100% immobilisation are indicated. The highest concentration producing 0% immobilization was 97 mg/L. The lowest concentration producing 100% immobilization was > 97 mg/L.
