Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Type of method:
thermal analysis
Key result
Melting / freezing pt.:
ca. 153.7 °C

In order to determine the melting point more precisely, further DSC-runs were receorded between 70°C and 300°C with a heating rate between 10°C/min. In the first main test run , the melting of the test item was determined at 153.7°C. The melting of the item during the second main test run was determined to be at 153.8°C. During runs, the samples lost 17% and 19% of their mass, respectively. After the measurment boths sample were black and solid.
