First-aid measures
- General advice:
Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance. If symptoms persist, call a physician. In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician. For further assistance, contact your local Poison Control Center. Use first aid treatment according to the nature of the injury. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately (show the label where possible).
- Following inhalation:
Move to fresh air. If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. IF
INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If breathing has stopped, contact emergency medical services immediately. Get medical attention for any breathing difficulty.
- Following skin contact:
IF ON SKIN (orhair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If skin irritation persists, call a physician
- Following eye contact:
IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If irritation persists, call a physician.
- Following ingestion:
Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Consult a physician. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.Seek immediate medical attention
Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media:
Carbon dioxide. Foam. Dry chemical.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media:
No information available
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapors
- Advice for fire fighter:As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions:
Use personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protection recommended in Section 8.
- Environmental precautions:
Prevent release to surface water.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:Prevent release to surface water.; Take up mechanically and collect in suitable container for disposal.
Handling and storage
- Precautions for safe handling:
Wear personal protective equipment. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Ensure adequate ventilation. Do not ingest. Remove all sources of ignition. Use only in area provided with appropriate exhaust ventilation. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated location, keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Avoid contact with eyes. Keep container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Ground container when transferring.
- Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.Keep in properly labeled containers.Protect from sunlight and store in well-ventilated place
