Endpoint:
boiling point
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
2017
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 103 (Boiling Point)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
other: GB/T 616-2006
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The boiling point was determined according to “Chemical reagent-General method for the determination of boiling point” in GB/T 616-2006 using a Boiling Point Tester for Chemical Reagent. The sample is heated by the apparatus and the vapor pressure of sample is increasing. The boiling point of the liquid is the temperature when the bubbles begin to emerge rapidly when the vapor pressure equals the atmospheric pressure. Then it is revised to the standard condition.
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
ebulliometer
Boiling pt.:
ca. 128.4 °C
Atm. press.:
ca. 1 021.5 hPa
Conclusions:
The boiling point of the sample is 128.4°C.
