Description of key information

The viscosity of the test substance at 20.0 ± 0.0°C was determined to be 33.8 ± 0.8 cP and 33.8 ± 1.4 cP at 30 and 60 rpm, respectively, according to OECD Guideline 114.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The test substance, HiMo LAB, was determined to be a Newtonian fluid. The viscosity of the test substance at 20.0 ± 0.0°C was determined to be 33.8 ± 0.8 cP and 33.8 ± 1.4 cP at 30 and 60 rpm, respectively, while the viscosity at 40.0 ± 0.0°C was determined to be 11.4 ± 0.1 cP and 11.2 ± 0.1 cP at 30 and 60 rpm, respectively. The substance is warranted to classification for Cat 1 aspirant according to CLP due to low viscosity at 40.0°C
