Administrative data
First-aid measures
Eye contact
Irrigate with eyewash solution or clean water, holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention.
Skin contact
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and drench affected skin with plenty of water, then wash with soap and water. Continue to wash the affected area for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms occur obtain medical attention. Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly cleaned.
Ingestion
Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious or convulsing person. Seek medical treatment.
Inhalation
Remove persons affected by vapour to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult, call a physician. Apply artificial respiration only if patient is not breathing or under medical supervision.
Further medical treatment
Symptomatic treatment and supportive therapy as indicated.

Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing Media
Extinguish with carbon dioxide, dry chemical powder, foam or waterspray.
Fire/Explosion Hazard
Combustion or thermal decomposition will evolve toxic and/or irritant vapours.
As with all dry powders, it is advisable to ground mechanical equipment in contact with dry material to dissipate the potential build-up of static electricity.
Fire Fighting Protective Equipment
Evacuate the area. Firefighters should use self-contained breathing equipment and protective clothing and gloves to avoid inhalation and contact with skin and eyes.
Other
Dike fire control water for later disposal. Disposal should be in accordance with local, state or national legislation. Contain effluent and prevent effluent from entering sewers and waterways. Contain the goods or any materials used in fire fighting.
More information: Strictly Controlled Conditions Report – Attached in section 13
Accidental release measures
Personal Precautions
Wear suitable respiratory protective equipment. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eyes/face protection. Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly cleaned.
Environmental Precautions
Remove all ignition sources. Sweep up spilled substance but avoid making dust. Collect residues and place in sealed plastic bags or other appropiate container for disposal or recovery. Disposal should be in accordance with local, state or national legislation. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pick up is complete.
More information: Strictly Controlled Conditions Report – Attached in section 13
Handling and storage
Handling
Use in a well-ventilated area.
Avoid all personal contact, including inhalation.
Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure exists.
When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Wash hands and exposed skin after use.
Contaminated clothing should be thoroughly cleaned.
Storage
Keep container tightly closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respirators
Wear suitable respiratory protective equipment when risk of exposure exists. Facilities, conditions of use and amount of material handled will determine the type of personal protective equipment required.
Eye Protection
Chemical googles. Complete protection to eyes.
Gloves
Protective gloves.
Other
Protect exposed skin.
More information: Strictly Controlled Conditions Report – Attached in section 13
Stability and reactivity
Stable under normal conditions.
Hazardous Reactions
Keep away from naked flames and other sources of ignition.
Keep away from heat and direct sunlight.
Keep away from moisture.
Keep away form oxidizing agents.
Decomposition Products
Combustion or thermal decomposition will evolve toxic and/or irritant vapours. This material emits hazardous fumes under fire conditions.
More information: Strictly Controlled Conditions Report – Attached in section 13
Disposal considerations
Bury on authorised site or incinerate under approved controlled conditions.
Regulatory Information
Disposal should be in accordance with local, state or national legislation.
