Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Acute immobilisation in Daphnia has been investigated in a 48 hour test according to OECD test methods with a structurally similar trimellitate, tri(2 -ethylhexyl)trimellitate (TOTM).

Dissolution/dispersion agents were used to increase concentration of the substance in the test medium. The EC50 (48h) was determined to be >180 mg/L and the NOEC was 180 mg/L, the highest concentration investigated.

Adjusting for differences in molecular weight between the tested substance and the registered substance, these values equate to an EC50 (48h) of >194 mg/L and a NOEC of 194 mg/L.
