Description of key information

3.54 g/L at 25°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
3.54 g/L
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

A literature review was conducted. In a weight of evidence approach the literature values were evaluated. Blackman (1955) reports the water solubility to be 3.18 g/L. Yalkowsky (1992) reports the water solubility to be 3.54 g/L. Furthermore the Yaws' Handbook of Thermodynamic and Physical Properties of Chemical Compounds reports the water solubility to be 3.543 g/L. All values are in the same range. The water solubility of 3.54 represents the median of all values and was therefore chosen as key value for chemical safety assessment.
