Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If overcome by exposure, remove victim to fresh air immediately. Allow the victim to rest. Seek medical advice.
Skin contact: Remove affected clothing and wash all exposed skin area with mild soap and water, followed by warm water rinse. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.
Eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking, tears or redness persist.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: All extinguishing media can be used.
Special exposure hazards: High temperature may liberate toxic gases.
Flammable class: Highly flammable.
Protection against fire: All fire-fighting personnel must wear safety suits. Use self-contained breathing apparatus whin in close proximity to fire.
Prevention: No smoking. Keep away from sources of ignition.
Special procedures: Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire.
Surrounding fires: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Suitable respiratory equipment. Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. Respiratory protection equipment may be necessary.
Environmental precautions: Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. Notify authorities if liquid enters sewers or public waters.
After spillage and/or leakage: Clean up any spills as soon as possible, using an absorbent material to collect it. Use suitable disposal containers.
Handling and storage
General: No naked lights. No smoking.
Handling: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking and when leaving work. Keep away from food, drink and animal feedin stuffs.
Technical protective measures: Ground well.Use only non-sparking tools. Use special care to avoid static electric charges.
Precautions in handling and storage: Do not use compressed air to either agitate or transfer the contents of storage containers (tanks) / shipping drums containing this material.Storage: Keep container closed when not in use. Keep at temperature not exceeding 20°C.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Respiratory protection: Suitable respiratory equipment.

Ingestion: When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Industrial hygiene: Provide adequate ventilation to minimize dust and/or vapour concentrations.
Stability and reactivity
Hazardous properties: Vapor mixes readily with air, forming explosive mixtures.
Conditions to avoid: Direct sunlight. Heat. Sparks. Open flame.
Materials to avoid: Strong acids, bases. Oxidising agent.
Hazardous decomposition products: nitrogen oxides. Carbon dioxide. Carbon monoxide. According to process conditions, hazardous decomposition products may be generated.
Disposal considerations
Hazardous watste due to toxicity. Dispose of this material and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point. Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
