Description of key information

The substance is a powder at 1013 hPa and 20 °C.

No melting occurs up to 450 °C; exothermic decomposition occurs between 288 and 397 °C.

The relative density is 1.742; granulometry analysis gave a MMD of 53.583 µm.

The substance is soluble in water, i.e. 82 g/l at 20 °C at pH 7.05. Average log Pow is -2.1764 at 20 °C and pH 6.81.

Vapour pressure, surface tension and flash point can be neglected.

Experimentally, the substance resulted as non flammable. Thermal behaviour, chemical structure and known experience in handling and use indicate the substance as non explosive and devoid of oxidising properties.
