The test substance was tested for activity as a cytotoxic agent in a test using implants of the Walker tumor. A total dose of 800 mg/kg was administered in daily doses during the first 10-12 days following the tumor implantation. According to the authors, the test substance did not inhibit tumor growth by >45% and did not appear to have any effect that was directed preferentially towards the tumor.
