First-aid measures
General information:
Remove contaminated clothing immediately and dispose of safely.
After inhalation:
Supply fresh air, if required oxygen, consult a physician. If threatening unconsciousness, position and transport in recovery position. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
After contact with skin:
In case of contact with skin wash off immediately with soap and water.
Seek medical treatment immediately.
After contact with eyes:
Remove contact lens. Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. In the event of persistent symptoms receive medical treatment.
After ingestion:
Do not induce vomiting. Rinse out mouth and give plenty of water to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Induce vomiting only upon the advice of a physician. Summon a doctor immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media:
Sand, Alcohol-resistant foam, Dry chemical, carbon dioxide (CO2).
Unsuitable extinguishing media:
Full water jet.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
In case of fire formation of dangerous gases possible.
In the event of fire the following can be released: carbon dioxide (CO2), Carbon monoxide (CO).
Advice for firefighters:
In case of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit. Wear full protective suit.
Additional information:
Cool containers at risk with water spray jet.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:
Use personal protective clothing. Get unprotected persons to safety.
Environmental precautions:
Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/ground water.
Do not discharge into the subsoil/soil.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:
Soak up with inert absorbent material (e.g. sand, silica gel, acid binder, universal binder). Suitable detergent:
methanol, Acetone.
Handling and storage
Advice on safe handling:
Provide appropriate ventilation and exhaust ventilation at the workplaces.
Advice on protection against fire and explosion:
Keep away from heat.
Further information on handling:
Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Requirements for storage rooms and vessels:
Keep container tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Ventilate store-rooms thoroughly.
Advice on storage compatibility:
Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs.
Further information on storage conditions:
Protect from heat and direct solar radiation.
Protect from atmospheric moisture and water.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls:
Provide emergency shower. Provide eye bath. Avoid exposure - before application obtain special instructions.
Protective and hygiene measures:
Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands before breaks and immediately after handling the product. When using do not eat, drink or smoke. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. It is essential for pregnant women to avoid inhaling the product and not to let it come in contact with the skin. Keep away from food, drink and animal feeding stuffs. Do not inhale dust/fumes/aerosols.
Eye/face protection:
Tightly fitting goggles (EN 166).
Hand protection:
Protective gloves (EN 374). Chemical resistant protective gloves, for direct and longer contact, penetration time > 480 min (EN 374-EN 388), 0,75 mm Neopren or 1,30 mm PVC.
Glove material must be impermeable and resistant against product / substance / preparation. Gloves material should comply with breakthrough times, permeation rates, and degradation. Requirements can vary as a function of the use. Therefore it is necessary to adhere additionally to the recommendations given by the manufacturer of protective gloves. Follow the recommendations of the glove manufacturer for breakthrough properties especially for workplace conditions involving mechanical stress and contact duration. The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves.
Skin protection:
Long sleeved clothing (EN 368).
Boots.
Apron (EN 467).
Respiratory protection:
In case of intensiveor longer exposure use breathing apparatus that is independent of circulating air.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity:
The product is stable under storage at normal ambient temperatures.
Chemical stability:
No decomposition if stored and applied as directed.
Possibility of hazardous reactions:
Excessive heat (> 50°C) or light may cause hazardous polymerisation.
Conditions to avoid:
Protect from heat and direct solar radiation.
Protect from atmospheric moisture and water.
Incompatible materials:
Peroxides, amines
Hazardous decomposition products:
No hazardous decomposition products known.
Disposal considerations
Advice on disposal:
Disposal in accordance with local regulations.
Waste disposal number of waste from residues/unused products: 160509 WASTES NOT OTHERWISE SPECIFIED IN THE LIST; gases in pressure containers and
discarded chemicals; discarded chemicals other than those mentioned in 16 05 06, 16 05 07 or 16 05 08
Contaminated packaging:
Disposal in accordance with local regulations.
