Extinguishing media not to be used: No restrictions

Protective equipment for firefighters: wear self contained breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Environmental precautions: Must not be released into sewers, drains or wells.

Methods for cleaning: Transfer large quantities into a container, rinse the rest with plenty of water.

Handling and storage

During the entire technical process, the substance will be handled in a strictly controlled system to minimize the substance emission and thus human exposure. Following the specific work place risk assessment, adequate technical engineering system will be implemented and proper PPE will be applied to the highly trained operators who are the only personnel involved in the technical process.  A special procedure for cleaning and maintenance work will be established. In case of accident and where waste is generated, procedural and control technologies are in place to minimize emissions and resulting exposure.

Storage and handling precautions: Keep container tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
