The test item Beta-alanine, N-(2-aminoethyl)-N-[2-carboxyethoxy)ethyl]-, N-coco acyl derivs., disodium salts (aq.solution) has a melting point of -14 °C at atmospheric pressure (996 – 1009 hPa) as determined by differential scanning calorimetry and test tube according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.1. and OECD Test Guideline 102 (1995).
