Description of key information

The test item is a solid white crystal powder with a purity of 100%.

The melting range was determined to be between : 85.2°C - 88.9°C.

Regarding the melting point testing, decomposition was observed at 358°C therefore no melting point can be determined.

The relative density was found to be 1.298 at 20°C and density to be 1298 kg.m-3 at 20°C.

The partition coefficient log Pow was found to be 0.26 at 20°C and the vapor presure was determined to be 4.5 Pa at 20°C.

Using the flask method, the water solubility was found to be 18 g/L at 20°C.

The surface tension is found to be 67.1 mN.m-1 at 20°C at 1g/L and no self-ignition was observed.

The test item have neither oxidising and explosive properties according to the structural formula.

The test item is not highly flammable and neither hazardous when the test item is in contact with water. In the pyrophoric testing, the test item was also found to be not pyrophiric
