The solubility of Diundecyl phthalate in water is 0.0117 g/kg. The density of this solution is about 1 kg/l (about water density). After recalculation:

The solubility of Diundecyl phthalate at pH 6.41 – 6.46 in water is 0.0117 g/l.

Conclusions:
Solubility of diundecyl phthalate (DUP) at 20 ± 0.5ºC and at pH ranging 6.41–6.46 in water is 0.0117 g/L.
Executive summary:

The water solubility test of diundecyl phthalate (DUP) was performed in accordance with EEC method A.6 and OECD 105. About five times the quantity of test item determined in the preliminary test was weighed into each of three glass vessels at 100 ml fitted with glass stoppers. 70 ml of double distilled water was added to each vessel. These closed vessels were agitated in an incubator at 30 ºC with magnetic stirrers. After one day, one of the flask was equilibrated for 24 h at the test temperature 20 ± 0.5 ºC with occasional shaking. The other two flasks were treated similarly after initial equilibration at 30 ºC for two and three days respectively. Two replicates were performed. The samples taken during saturation were then separated using a vial-centrifuge to give the clear liquid phase and the concentration of the test substance in the clear solvent phase was determined by a validated HPLC method. The solubility of diundecyl phthalate (DUP) in distilled water at pH 6.41 -6.46 was determined to be 0.0117 g/l at 20 ± 0.5 °C.
