The vapour pressur of Tall oil pith, reaction product with triethylene glycol was calculated by extrapolation of the measured vapour pressure curve for the temperatures 20, 25 and 50 °C with the estimated average molecular weight of 1515 g/mol. The estimated molecular weight is assumed to be adequate as it is close to the main component of the test item.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of Tall oil pitch, reaction product with triethylene glycol at 20, 25 and 50 °C was, 1.4 x 10^-3, 1.7 x 10^-3and 4.1 x 10^-3 Pa, respectively.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of Tall oil pitch, reaction product with triethylene glycol was determined using the Knudsen cell effusion method and according to OECD 104. The vapour pressure of the test item at 20, 25 and 50 °C was, 1.4 x 10-3, 1.7 x 10-3and 4.1 x 10-3Pa, respectively.
