First-aid measures

First-aid measures after inhalation : Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.

First-aid measures after skin contact : Wash skin with plenty of water.

First-aid measures after eye contact : Rinse eyes with water as a precaution.

First-aid measures after ingestion : Call a poison center or a doctor if you feel unwell.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed : Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media : Foam. Carbon dioxide. Polyvalent powders. BC-powder. ABC-powder.

Unsuitable extinguishing media : Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Hazardous decomposition products in case of fire : Toxic fumes may be released. Carbon dioxide.

Protection during firefighting : Do not attempt to take action without suitable protective equipment. Self-contained breathing apparatus. Complete protective clothing

Accidental release measures

Emergency procedures : Ventilate spillage area.

Methods for cleaning up : Absorb spill with inert material (e.g. vermiculite, sand or earth), then place in suitable container.

Other information : Dispose of materials or solid residues at an authorized site.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling : Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Wear personal protective equipment. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Hygiene measures : Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Always wash hands after handling the product.

Storage conditions : Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool. Prevent unauthorised access. Carefully close all opened container and kept upright to prevent leakage.

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 18(4) for transported isolated intermediate. Site documentation to support safe handling arrangements including the selection of engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls in accordance with risk-based management system is available at each site. Written confirmation of application of Strictly Controlled Conditions has been received from every Downstream user of the intermediate.

Eye protection:

Facial protection and safety goggles. Use an equipment of protection of eyes, tested and approved according to the current governmental

standards, such as NIOSH (US) or IN 166 (EU).

In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment

Avoid release to the environment.
