First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water, holding the eyelids apart, for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water. If irritation develops, seek medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,
nitrogen and sulfur together with some soot.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus and full personal
protective equipment must be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Isolate spillage. Full personal protective clothing and a
self contained breathing apparatus must be worn. Sweep up
spill or use industrial vaccuum fitted suitable dust
filtration system. Transfer to suitably labelled containers
and dispose of in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid dust formation. Avoid skin and eye contact. Gloves,
goggles, full personal protective clothing and a self
contained breathing apparatus should be worn.
Storage: Store in tightly sealed containers in a cool dark place.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 1 kg tin or 20 kg mild steel drum with conductive plastic
liner.
