Key result
Test procedure:
burning rate test: preliminary screening test
Burning time:
0 s
Remarks on result:
substance does not ignite and propagate combustion either by burning with flame or smouldering along 200 mm of the powder train within the 2 minutes test period

In the Preliminary Screening Test, it was observed that, the test item did not ignite but only melted upto 20 cm whitin 2 minutes when hot flama from the gas burner (diameter of the burner, 25 mm) was applied to one end of the powder train.

Also there was no smoldering observed within 4 minutes of total testing period after the withdrawal of flame. In the view of the above test, it was concluede that the substance is Not Highly Flammable (Non-flammable).

Interpretation of results:
not classified based on GHS criteria
Conclusions:
In the "preliminary Screening Test", it was observed that, the test item did not ignite but melted up to 20 cm within 2 minutes when hot flame from the gas burner (diameter of the buner 25 mm) was applied to one end of the powder train.
Also there was no smoldering observed within 4 minutes of total testing period after the withdrawal of flame. In the view of the above test, it was concluded that the substance is Not Higly flammabel (NON- flamabel).
