Additional information

Koc of target substance was calculated using KOCWIN v2.00., the suite of physical/chemical property and environmental fate estimation programs developed by the EPA’s Office of Pollution Prevention Toxics and Syracuse Research Corporation (SRC).

It is expected to be a substance with a low potential for adsorption, as confirmed by the partition coefficient log Kow is -2.3 (REACH&Colours, 2012).

Based on REACH regulation annex VIII column 2 (specific rules for adaptation from column 1) the study does not need to be conducted based on the physicochemical properties the substance can be expected to have a low potential for adsorption (e.g. the substance has a low octanol water partition coefficient).
