Additional information

The tested substance is not hydrolysable, not biodegradable and does not bioaccumulate based on experimental result of Kow value.

Release to air, with an estimated vapour pressure of 1.83E-041 Pa at 25 deg C indicates that Direct Black 80:1 will not exist if not in dust particles in the atmosphere.

If released to soil, Direct Black 80:1 is expected to be a substance with a low potential for adsorption based on the partition coefficient log Kow of -2.3 (REACH&Colours, 2012).

Volatilization from moist soil surfaces is not expected to be an important fate process based upon an estimated Henry's Law constant of 6.24E-041 Pa m3/mol.

The substance does not hydrolyze, based on read across with similar substance 1 (half life time > 1 year).
