No simulation studies are available in water, sediment or soil. Biodegradation screening tests in water are available for the substance. It can be concluded from the available screening tests that the substance exhibits inherent (primary) biodegradability, and is therefore not expected to persist indefinitely in the environment

 

Biodegradation in water was tested in two screening studies according to OECD 301F (ready biodegradability) and OECD 302B (inherent biodegradability). The substance showed 22% biodegradability in the first test (Brixham Environmental Laboratory, 2009) and 84% biodegradability in the second test (Brixham Environmental Laboratory, 2010) . Although the substance is classified as "not ready biodegradable", it exhibits inherent (primary) biodegradability, and therefore is not expected to persist indefinitely in the environment.
