Results and discussion

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
No significant mutagenicity was observed for titanocene dichloride
Executive summary:

The mutagenic activities of 79 carcinogens, noncarcinogens, and structurally related compounds toward Salmonella typhimurium strains TA1530, TA1535, and TA1538 and toward Saccharomyces cerevisiae D3 were Investigated In the intraperitoneal host-mediated assay.

However, none of the non-carcinogens was significantly mutagenic toward either S. typhimurium or Saccharomyces cerevisiae D3.

Overall, the Intraperitoneal hostmediated asay does not seem suitable for routine preliminary screening of large numbers of potential carcinogens.
