Description of key information

Acute aquatic toxicity was determined using a crustacea species an algal species. An Envigo study (WD03KJ, 2018) was performed to assess the effect of the test item on the growth of the green alga. Based on the geometric mean measured test concentrations the 72-hour EC50 (Growth Rate) was determined to be 0.85mg/L. The NOEC and LOEC values were 0.15 and 0.52 mg/L respectively.

In the short-term toxicity test (Envigo, LH95TN, 2018) to aquatic invertebrates 48 -hour exposure of Daphnia magna to the test item gave the following results:

EC50 = 4.0 mg/L, NOEC = 2.0 mg/L, LOEC = 3.9 mg/L.
