PRELIMINARY STUDY

-The estimated auto-ignition temperature was 270 °C.

MAIN STUDY

- The results of the main study on the determination of the auto-ignition temperature of the test item are given in Table 7 (attached).

- Ignition of the test item within 5 minutes after introduction was observed with each sample volume and with each test a minimum auto-ignition temperature was obtained. The maximum deviation between the three values was < 10 °C.. According to the guidelines, no further testing was required.

- The lowest temperature at which ignition of the test item occurred was 252 °C. This temperature was rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5 °C giving an auto-ignition temperature of the test item of 250 °C.

Conclusions:
The test item is auto-ignitable with an auto-ignition temperature of 250 °C at 999 to 1004 hPa.
