First-aid measures
Description of first aid measures
If on skin
Immediately remove splashed or contaminated clothing. Shower and rinse your entire body with
abundant water. Wash contaminated parts of the body with soap and water during at least 15 minutes.
Contact a doctor if an irritation persists.
If contact with eyes
Immediately rinse abundantly with water for around fifteen minutes.
Consult an ophthalmologist immediately.
If inhaled
In case of emergency, immedialty remove any injured or suffering person from the area.
If necessary, provide oxygen.
Lie the victim down and keep the person warm.
Contact a doctor immediately.
If swallowed
Immediately transfer the person to the hospital
Rescuers should take special care to avoid exposure and should wear protective equipments.
Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed
No data available
Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed
No data available
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media
Appropriate means of extnguishing fires
water spray with additive, water spray, ABC dry chemical, physical foam and water.
Special hazards arising from the subtance or mixture
in case of fire, generation of toxic and corrosive gases from combustion and thermal decomposition: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen oxide
Advice for firefighters
Wear standalone isolating respiratory devices and appropriate protective clothing (chemical protection suit).
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Protection equipment
Wear required personal protection equipment as mentionned in section 8
Protective and prevention measures
Avoid breathing dust
Ensure adequate ventilation if possible.
Environmental precautions
Avoid contaminating the environment directly via surface water or via the soil or indirectly via
the water evacuation system.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Isolate and limite the access to the danger area.
Collect and, if possible, recycle the substance.
Collect waste using a mechanical device, in an appropriate container, and clearly label for
destruction according to applicable regulations.
Reference to other sections
Exposure control parameters as described in section 8 apply in the event of accidental spillage.
Waste from cleaning must be treated in accordance with the provisions of section 13.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling
Protective and prevention measures
• Health
Do not manipulate with bare hands
Do not ingest
Avoid contact with eyes
Avoid breathing dust
Respect recommendation for personal protection equipment (section 8)
• Environment
Avoid contaminating the environment directly via surface water or via the soil or indirectly via the water evacuation system.
General advice on hygiene in the workplace
Do not eat, drink or smoke when working.
Wash your hands before breaks and before leaving work.
If necessqry, shower after work.
Keep your personal protection devices and work clothing clean.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Technical measures and storage conditions
Store in a cool and ventilated room at a temperature below 40°C
Store in the original packaging, closed appropriately.
Packaging materials
Containers should be appropriately closed and labelled
Cardboard drums with polyethylene bag, glass bottle for samples
Specific end use(s)
internal use as synthesis intermediate
Samples for analytical caracterisation tests

Exposure controls / personal protection
Exposure controls
Appropriate engineering controls
After opening, general ventilation is recommended when manipulating the substance.
Ensure adequate ventilation of work stations
Measures of personal protection, such as personal protective equipment
If no collective protection and/or when personal exposure is expected, the following personal equipment are recommended:
• Eye protection : safety goggles.
• Skin protection : Wear appropriate clothing and shoes
• Hand protection : Wear appropriate gloves
• Respiratory protection : if ventilation is inadequate, wear a full protection cartridge gas mask or a full facial protection with supplied air
Reducing exposure to protect the environment
Avoid contaminating the environment directly via surface water or via the soil or indirectly via the
water evacuation system.
Waste must be treated in accordance with the provisions of section 13.
