Description of key information
The presence of specific groups such as pyridinium and aldehyde being part of the test item’s chemical structure are not susceptible towards hydrolysis. Therefore the absence of hydrolysable groups justify not performing a hydrolysis test in accordance to both the “Practical guide for SME managers and REACH coordinators – How to fulfil your information requirements at tonnages 1-10 and 10-100 tonnes per year” (ECHA-16-B-24-EN, ISBN: 978-92-9495-170-0, dated: 19 July 2016) and as stated in REACH annex XI.
