Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the relative self ignition temperature of the test substance according to EU Method A16, in compliance with GLP. During the study, the test substance entered a shallow endotherm at approximately 74°C and then rose up at 139°C into a very shallow exotherm but did not reach 400°C by self-heating. On completion of testing a black residue remained. Under the study conditions, no self ignition was observed for the test substance (Chilworth, 2017); therefore the self-ignition temperature has been considered to be >400°C.
