In the course of this study the test item did not self-ignite up to 400 °C. Thus, no self-ignition temperature could be stated.
Executive summary:

A study was performed according to Commission Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008 method A.16 in order to determine the self-ignition temperature of the test item by using the ZPA 3 oven. The test item was filled in a cube and put into the oven at ambient temperature. The temperature of the oven and the sample were continuously recorded while heating the oven up to 400 °C with a rate of approximately 0.6 °C/min. No self-ignition of the test item was observed up to 400 °C maximum temperature. Thus, the test item was not considered as self-igniting substance.
