Description of key information

The acute aquatic toxicity of the test item was assessed in a Daphnia and algae study.

The toxicity of the test item towards aquatic invertebrates, Daphnia, was examined in a study according to OECD 202. Daphnia magna were exposed to the test item for 48 hours. The EC50 (48h) was determined to be 28 mg/L (measured initial concentration).

The influence of test item on the growth of the freshwater green algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata was assessed in a static concentration-response test according to OECD Guideline 201. The EC50-value for inhibition of growth rate after 72 hours is 9.47 mg/L. The EC10 -value for inhibition of growth rate after 72 hours is 7.8 9 mg/L. The effect levels are base on measured initial concentrations.
