Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
GHS criteria not met
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
According to the OECD guideline for testing of chemieals (OECD 406, May 12, 1981), since no animal showed an allergic response,
the test article "AMTH" may be classified as a "non-sensitizer".
Executive summary:

The potential skin sensitizing properties of "AMTH" were assessed in the guinea pig maximization test using 20 test and 20 control animals. Following induction exposure to the test article or the vehicle, the animals were subjected two weeks later to a challenge exposure with the test article. The treated skin areas were evaluated 24 and 48 h after the end of the exposure period.
