The 24h-EC50 of potassium dichromate was tested in a current reference test. The value was determined as 1.3 mg/L, lying within the demanded range of 0.6 - 1.7 mg/L.

In accordance the guideline OECD 202, the following results could be determined for 1574 ACIDE :
48h and 24h NOEC = 100 mg/L
24h and 48h EC50i > 100 mg/L
Executive summary:

The experiment was performed using three concentrations ranging from 1 to 100 mg/L. Twenty daphnia were exposed to the test ite for 48 hours in a static test system. After 24 and 48 hours, the immobilised daphnia were counted.

The concentrations showed no toxicity. None of the animals were immobilised in the control.

The 24h-EC50 of potassium dichromate was tested in a current reference test. The value was determined as 1.3 mg/L, lying within the demanded range of 0.6 - 1.7 mg/L.

The following results could be determined for the 1574 ACIDE :

24 and 48h NOEC = 100mg/L

24 and 48h ECi50 > 100 mg/L

= 1 - 10 mg/L
