Description of key information

4-anilinobenzene-diazonium hydrogen sulphate decomposes starting from temperature of 130 °C equivalent to 403 K without melting or boiling.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
623.17 °C

Additional information

The differential scanning calorimetry method was used for the evaluation of melting and boiling points of the test substance. No endothermic peak corresponding to melting and boiling points of the test substance was recorded in the tested temperature range from 25 °C to 600 °C. The thermal decomposition of the test substance started at the temperature 130 °C equivalent to 403 K. Any peaks correspond to the melting or boiling of the test substance was not observed to the temperature at which the thermal decomposition started.

An estimated value of boiling point of 623.17 °C has been calculated by EPI Suite v.4.11 using the SMILES notation O=S(=O)(O)ON(#N)c2ccc(Nc1ccccc1)cc2 for unionised structure of 4-anilinobenzene-diazonium hydrogen sulphate.
