Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Justification for type of information:
Statement from testing lab on the feasibility of conducting a hydrolysis as a function of pH test on the substance:

No evaluation of the hydrolytic stability of the test item in aqueous media was possible by Method C.7 Abiotic Degradation, Hydrolysis as a Function of pH of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 111 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 13 April 2004. This was due to the absence of a suitable substance specific analytical method with which to evaluate the intact inorganic metal salt.

Furthermore, the test methods require an analytical procedure which can accurately measure at least a 10% decrease in the concentration of the parent (intact) test item over 120 hours in the preliminary test. Therefore, as the fully inorganic test item was considered to dissociate into solution rather than actually dissolve, any procedure to measure the parent (intact) test item concentration in aqueous solutions was considered to be non-feasible.
