Appearance Pre Storage Results

Analysis/Test  Method  Pre Storage Sample DNA3730/1 (Acid Source)
Appearance

Visual inspection and weighing of packs.

Stability of Packaging

Sample DNA3730/l (Acid Source) was contained in a transparent plastic bag 30cm x 20cm. The plastic bag was heat sealed and contained another plastic bag sealed with a cable tie. There were no signs of any leaks.

Appearance

Sample DNA3730/l was a uniform white crystalline powder with granules below Imm in diameter. The sample was free flowing with no signs of clumping and no compaction. The sample had a no discernible odour.

Weights (Prior to Storage):

DNA3730/l: 532.84g

DNA3730/1 Sub Sample: l 7.0397g

Analysis/Test  Method  Pre Storage Sample DNA3730/2 (Salt Source)
 Appearance

Visual inspection and weighing of packs.

Stability of Packaging

Sample DNA3730/2 (Salt Source) was contained in a 2L brown plastic bottle 26cm x 22.5cm. The bottle had a brown screw-top lid and an aperture size of 3 .5cm. The bottle had no external seal and a plastic stopper internal seal. The bottle showed no signs of leaks or panelling.

Appearance

Sample DNA3730/2 was a uniform clear liquid. The sample was free flowing with no signs of separation into cream or oil and had no sign of sedimentation, claying or of suspended solids. The sample had a no discernible odour.

Weights (Prior to Storage):

DNA3730/2: 2169.90g

DNA3730/2 Sub Sample: 21.1164g

Appearance Post Storage Results

Analysis/Test  Method  Post Storage Sample DNA3730/1 and DNA3730/2
 Appearance

Visual inspection and weighing of packs.

Stability of Packaging

Sample DNA3730/1 was subsampled into a 5mL glass vial for 2 weeks accelerated storage at 54 °C.

Sample DNA3730/2 was subsampled into a 5mL glass vial for 2 weeks accelerated storage at 54 °C.

Appearance

Sample DNA3730/1 was a uniform white crystalline powder with granules below 1 mm in diameter. The sample was free flowing with no signs of clumping and no compaction. The sample had a no discernible odour.

Sample DNA3730/2 was a uniform clear liquid. The sample was free flowing with no signs of separation into cream or oil and had no sign of sedimentation, claying or of suspended solids. The sample had a no discernible odour.

Weights (Post Storage):

DNA3730/1 Sub Sample: l 7.0397g Prior to Storage

DNA3730/1 Sub Sample: 16.9878g Post Accelerated Storage

DNA3730/2 Sub Sample: 21. l l 64g Prior to Storage

DNA3730/2 Sub Sample: 21.0657g Post Accelerated Storage

No significant deviation was recorded in this part of the study.

Acid Source

The samples of (2S)-5-oxopyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid Technical Material arrived in good condition with no evidence of any leaks. The appearance of Sample (DNA3730/l) Acid Source appeared unchanged post accelerated storage at 54°C ±2°C for 2 weeks

from the pre storage sample.

Salt Source

The samples of (2S)-5-oxopyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid Technical Material arrived in good condition with no evidence of any leaks or panelling. The appearance of Sample (DNA3730/2) Salt Source appeared unchanged post accelerated storage at 54°C ±2°C for 2 weeks from the pre storage sample.
