The sample is heated from room temperature (about 20 deg C) to +/- 200 deg C (nearby the melting point). The sample shows no self-ignition to 400 deg C in the test run.

Conclusions:
In conclusion, the tested substance T002488 is not auto-flammable up to the temperature applied in the test run. The substance has no relative self-ignition temperature.

Only supporting information (Klimisch 4, Product Safety Center of Janssen Pharmaceutica N.V.) is available on autoflammability. In a BAM oven test, the minimum ignition temperature was determined to be greater than 610°C. In a Grewer oven test with end temperature 350°C, no self-ignition of the test item was observed, i.e. the substance does not have a relative self-ignition temperature. Clearly, the substance does not need to be considered as autoflammable.
