Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
Experimental starting date: 25 July 2017 Experimental completion date: 07 February 2018
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 105 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:

Key result
Remarks on result:
not determinable
Remarks:
The water solubility of the test item at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C has been determined to be loading rate dependent

The water solubility of the test item at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C has been determined to be loading rate

dependent shown by the following results:

Nominal Loading Rate (g/L)  Concentration (gTOC/L)
 0.01  <1x10 -3
 0.1  2.61 x 10-3 to 5.76 x 103
 1  2.65 x 10-2
 10  0.192

Due to this, a single definitive water solubility value could not be determined.

Conclusions:
A single definitive water solubility value could not be determined. Ranges are shown in the above table.
Executive summary:

Determined at 20.0 ± 0.5 °C to be loading rate dependent, using the flask

method, designed to be compatible with Method A.6 Water Solubility of Commission

Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 105 of the OECD Guidelines for

Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995 due to this a single water solubility value could not be determined.

Description of key information

A single definitive water solubility value could not be determined and therefore a conservative estimate of 1.0 mg/L has been used for risk assessment purposes.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Water solubility:
1 mg/L
at the temperature of:
20 °C
