Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The test substance does not meet the criteria to be classified as readily biodegradable. The average cumulative percent biodegradation for the test substance was 4.6% after 28 days. The test system would degrade slightly in the water compartment and partition to the sediment where it would further degraded to other metabolites that would eventually incorporated into the sediment as non-extractable residue (NER). The DT50 in the water phase was 22.9 -67.3 days. Once in the sediment, the test substance degraded with an overall whole system DT50 of 282.9 -692.1 days. The rate of aerobic degradation was measured in several different soils. The DT50s in those soils ranged from 52.9 to 302.7 days.
