Conclusion on classification

The registration substance is readily biodegraded and has a very low potential for bioaccumulation & biomagnification based on a measured Log Kow and metabolism pathways.

Acute freshwater tests for fish, daphnia and algae (WAF; determined by TOC) were carried out at different at different substance loadings. Up to a nominal test item concentration of 100 mg/L at 20 deg C no effects were observed. Based on these facts it can be concluded

Short-term effects

CLP                  no environmental classification required

Long-term (chronic) effects

CLP                  no environmental classification required
