Conclusion on CLP

Short-term effect values are available for all three trophic levels and one long-term effect value is available for aquatic algae. All EC/LC50 values for acute toxicity are in the same order of magnitude and > 1 mg/L. Therefore, the substance is not classified as acutely hazardous to the environment. However, the EC/LC50 values are > 1 to ≤ 10 mg/L and the substance is not readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria and has a log Kow of 4.11. Therefore, the substance is classified and labelled as Category Chronic 2 for long-term environmental hazards, according to the consolidated version of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and further amendments.
