Specific details on test material used for the study:
Batch number: CN61204501
Content: 95.5%
Physical condition: white powder
Expiration date: 2017-12-04
Storage: Room temperature
Atm. press.:
>= 1 010 - <= 1 012 hPa
Decomposition:
no
Remarks on result:
other: no boiling up to 300°C

The atmospheric pressure at the time of measurement was 1010 and 1012 hPa. At about 142 °C, 208 °C and 306 °C were three small endothermic effects. The energy of these effects is too small for a boiling. There is no boiling up to a temperature of 300 °C.

Conclusions:
Boiling Temperature to Vulkacit P Extra N was determined according to EC No. 440/2008 A.2 showing no boiling up to 300°C.
Executive summary:

The boiling temperature to Vulkacit P Extra N was determined with the DCS-method described in ASTM E 472-86 and DIN 51007:1994. A sample was placed in a crucible made of aluminum and closed with a cap with a hole from about 0.5 mm. This hole was covered by a sphere from 1.5 mm diameter. The crucible with the substance and a reference crucible were subjected to the same controlled temperature program. The sample was heated at a linear rate of 10 K/min from 40 °C up to 400 °C. The measurement was recorded electronically. The measurement was done twice.
