Specific details on test material used for the study:
Batch number: CN61204501
Content: 95.5%
Physical condition: white powder
Expiration date: 2017-12-04
Storage: Room temperature
Remarks on result:
no self ignition observed under the test conditions
Remarks:
Test substance does not undergo spontaneous combustion

No reference substances were employed for the tests.

Conclusions:
Vulkacit P Extra N does not undergo spontaneous combustion.
Executive summary:

The test was performed as stipulated in EC Test Procedure A.16 'Relative self-ignition temperature for solids'.

The test item Vulkacit P Extra N was placed in a wire basket with 8 ml volume in an oven at room temperature. The oven was heated up with a rate of 0.5 K/min up to 420 °C. The temperature of the center of the sample and the temperature of an inert reference sample, which was placed in the oven too, were recorded. For the purpose of this test, the temperature of the oven at which the sample temperature reached 400 °C by self-heating is called the self-ignition temperature.

The temperature/time-diagram showed two small endothermic effects at about 127 °C and 200 °C. After the test the basket was empty.

Vulkacit P Extra N does not undergo spontaneous combustion.
